Calling all Minutemen!

We’re holding another meetup at the Washoe County Regional Shooting Facility to learn about firearms and practice their use. As patriotic Americans, it is our duty to learn to defend not only our Country, but ourselves as well.

As usual, everyone will be welcomed and encouraged– expert or novice, gun-owner or not. If you have a gun (whether you’ve ever fired it or not), please bring it, and we’ll help you figure it out (don’t forget to bring your ammo!). If you don’t have a gun yet, we should have some there for you to try. This will be a peaceful “friends helping friends” meetup, and it should be a lot of fun!

We plan to have some refreshments, too. If you are interested in helping (including with refreshments/snacks) please contact me.

Driving Directions: The Range is about half an hour North of I-80 on Pyramid Highway. Exit I-80 onto Pyramid Way (by the Nugget) and keep going North. When you pass Grass Valley Road, you are close. The turn-off will be on the LEFT. Keep an eye out- It’s easy to miss it!

Click HERE for a map. If you get lost, please call me at 741-9180.

We only need a few people there at 8:00 to help us grab several of the stations, everyone else can come when convenient. We plan to wrap up by around Noon.

Afterwords, we may stop at a local establishment for lunch and one of our usual good discussions. If you want to join us, stick around…

Last time we checked, admission to the Range was $7 for adults, $4 for juniors (under 18), $4 for Seniors (62+). You will pay this to the range-master when you arrive. Parking is available right next to the range.
Don’t tell the range-master you’re with a group. (He gets nervous…) Just pay your fare and come looking for the Ron Paul truck.

Be sure to bring ear and eye protection! Shop goggles or even regular eye-glasses are usually good enough for your eyes, and the foam ear-plugs work good for your ears (but you may want a little more). If you need assistance with these, please contact me. (Ear protection may be available there, but please don’t rely on that…)

Hope to see everyone there!
